Catalog Heaven is a free item testing experience for Roblox created by Sky Studios. The game was created initially as a place to test various assets before purchasing them; however, in the years that have followed its release, the experience has taken on the role of a PvP battleground. This is one of the oldest Roblox experiences, having been released in 2010. 

Catalog Heaven is one of the most exciting battleground experiences due to it containing the entire Roblox catalog. However, there are many more games on Roblox that will let you assert battle-based dominance over your fellow players. You wouldn’t know it if you tried the experience today, but Catalog Heaven was initially only meant to be a place to test all of the latest Roblox gear before buying it from the shop. As such, this is the largest catalog of Roblox weaponry, headgear, morphs and other assets. Players will spawn in a controlled space above the testing arena, where they’ll be able to equip themselves with whatever items they want to test. 

Once ready, the players will drop down to the surface of the playing field and from there on its essentially a free for all in terms of taking other players down. This evolved as the game used to be a place to simply test weapons. Players soon figured out that weapons could be tested on one another, and the new form of Catalog Heaven was established. 

Issues

Unfortunately, Catalog Heaven has fallen into a state of ill repute due to how players treat the game. As it turns out, players started finding ways to get into other players’ spawn boxes and would then perform kills before their opponents could even suit up. These are known as spawn kills, and they are generally frowned upon in the gaming industry. 

Players also started finding ways to access banned content to use against their opponents. Now, players can access such assets with a specialized VIP pass, which further deters other plays from the experience. 

A piece of Roblox’s history

Catalog Heaven is worth investigating and playing at least once, simply due to its age and history. Whether it's the drama surrounding the spelling of ‘Catalog’ that hooks you in the story of this game, or the excitement and general insanity of the experience itself, Catalog Heaven is an experience quite unlike any other that the platform offers. 

For the most part, you’ll enjoy testing items available in Roblox. That’s if you can survive the spawn kills.
